The Local Bookkeeper, Bexley is proud to support Children Today

Children Today was founded in 1994 to help disabled children and young people up to the age of  25 enjoy a better quality of life by providing them with the specialised equipment they need.

Often children and young people with disabilities remain excluded from a lifestyle which other people may take for granted. They want to join in and take part in the same sorts of activities, within their capabilities, as other children. They want to gain more independence from their parents as they get older, but are often prevented from doing so.

The Bexley Boundary Walk 2013

The Bexley Boundary Walk is back for its third year following the success of the last two years, and to encourage previous participants the route will be reversed giving a whole new perspective to the walk!

The walk keeps close to the Bexley Borough boundary using legal rights of way and public footpaths, offering the hikers the chance to fully experience all that the borough has to offer.

This year the event will take place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th July. We are offering the complete two day challenge (50 miles) or one day on the Saturday or Sunday (25 miles) or even just as far as you want.

What the past participates said: “We have completed the walk for the past 2 years and are both looking forward to 2013, which we hope will be the year we get the hat trick! The walk is not only two days of fun but also a chance to do something for local children with disabilities”. (Sarah Oxley and Nikki Litchmore participants 2011 and 2012)
